Lo that I see The Sea of Flesh But it is not often so visible The curvatures and formless forms Coalescing in strange and fantastic shapes Shapes that abide by and disregard all meaning From a distance, the surface appears calm Disjoint only in the shifting of hues and the amalgam of colors Yet look more closer and the motion is revealed The writhing, convulsing, spastic ripples Lost in the subdued chaos of the larger waters I am left adrift in turbulent surf of disquiet
